Day 4 Morning: Glaramara Hotel
Last night while unpacking I realized I'd walked through lunch! Not difficult to do given the amazing scenery, something I will never forget. This did leave me with a bit of a quandary, ditch the ham sandwich and go for dinner, or eat the sandwich and forego dinner... The sandwich won out, and I'm pleased as the ham was lovely and the flapjack and chocolate bar were all in plenty for me yesterday evening.
This morning I woke to a cloudy day with a drizzle of rain, the kind you don't particularly notice, but you end up soaked. This is a shame as I have a big hill to climb today in the form of Greenup Edge. Standing at just a single foot over 2000 feet. I doubt I'll be posting many views type photos today, but here's hoping for the clouds to lift!!!
Onwards and upwards to Grasmere and the home of the famous poet William Wordsworth.
